Let Bench = x + 62
Add them together to obtain the total

Combine like terms
2x + 62 = 888
Subtract 62 from both sides of the equation
2x = 888 - 62
2x = 826
Divide both sides of the equation by 2
x = 826/2
x = 413 is the cost of the Table
x + 62 = 475 is the cost of the Bench
Checking
413 + 475 = 888
