Hi Marie,
Theres a couple of things that will make this problem really easy -
just to review,
1)
Slope-Intercept form looks like
Y = Mx+B
where M is slope and B is your "y-intercept"
2)
Since a Y-Intercept is where the line crosses the Y-Axis, then you know from the problem that your y-intercept is -2 because it tells you that there's a point (0,-2)
The problem also tells you the slope straight up, so you can just plug it in!
So B = -2
and
M = -3
Plugging those numbers into "Y= Mx+B"
your answer will be Y = -3x + (-2)
