Hello,
The functions can have both horizontal asymptote and vertical asymptote, they can have one of these asymptotes, or might have none of them.
Some functions that don't have any asymptotes are function parabola f(x) = x2 , f(x) = x3 , f(x) = square root of x
These example of functions above don't have any asymptote because they're always continuous, so can not define asymptote.
