I need help with finding the y intercept

I wrote this equation in standard form -5x + 6y = 12, now I need to rewrite it in slope-intercept form. Identify the slope and y intercept. Describe this graph, where does it cross the y axis and is the ling slanting upward or downward and fine the y interept

6y = 5x + 12 ------> y = (5/6)x + 2 slope-intercept form

 

slope : 5/6

 

x=0 leads to y = 2 ; therefore point with coordinates (0 , 2) is the y intercept

 

5/6 is positive ( > 0 ) ; therefore the line is slanting upward.
