In general, say you have function g(x) and have the following transformations:
a*g(x - b) + d
a = vertical stretch / compression
b = horizontal shift
d = vertical shift
In this problem,
g(x) = −10(x−2)2 + 6 = f(x) - 3
This would be a downward shift of 3 units.
