Because the coin rolls at 3 rev/s, this equates to 3*360 degrees/s. So,
540 degrees = (3*360 degrees /sec)*t sec. Solving gives
t = 0.5 sec.
Now, to figure the distance, we multiply the angle traveled (540 degrees) by the radius of the coin.
So, distance = 540*(pi/180)*10 mm = 94.2 mm.
Notice that when calculating distance, we have to convert angles to radians. That's where the pi/180 factor comes in.
