Find the perimeter of ABCD:

Find the perimeter of parallelogram ABCD if CD = 5+5y, BC = 4, AB = 3y + 11.

(A) 14

(B) 48

(C) 16

(D) insufficient information

(E) None of these

For this I got; (B) 48. Would this be the correct answer?

5 + 5y = 3y + 11

5 + 2y = 11

2y = 6

y=3

So one base is 20 , the other is 4....

perimeter is 2(20+4) = 48
