A jeweler offers to sell you a ring he claims is pure palladium which has a denstity of 12.02/mL . Before buying the you want to determine weather it is really pure palladium. Explan how would procedure that you could use in a lab to determine wheater the ring is pure palladium.

Next determine the volume

 

Divide weight/volume, that is the density. If density is 12.02 g/ml then you have pure palladium.
