(12x-64)/(x^(2)+x-30) simplifying rational expresions

I understand how they got the denominator answer but I don't get how to do the numerator part.???

In the numerator, you can factor out the GCF (Greatest Common Factor of 4)

This gives you 4(3x-16)

The denominator, if you factor it, gives you (x+6)(x-5)

So 4(3x-16)/(x+6)(x-5)

Nothing cancels out, so it can't be simplified.
