I need to find |Δy|, which is the absolute value of the change in y.
Given two points: (12, -13) and (17, -22)
Finding Δy: Δy = y₂ - y₁ = -22 - (-13) = -22 + 13 = -9
Finding |Δy|: |Δy| = |-9| = 9
Answer: |Δy| = 9
