So for your particular question you are asked to find the perimeter of a square. One simple way to think of what is meant by perimeter is to get the sum of each side. You can do this by simply adding all the sides. So if a square has 4 sides , we will add the 4 sides together to get the perimeter. For your question they tell you that the sides are 7cm, so add the four sides as follows 7cm+7cm+7cm+7cm=28cm. Dont forget to put your units, since without the the unit your answer will be counted as wrong.
