Tanisha solved the equation below by graphing a system of equations.

What system of equations could be used to approximate her solution? Do your best to type out the two equations for the system.

The equation in the problem means: 3^5x = 5^2x+5

Now use common logarithms: 5x log 3 = (2x+5) log 5

(5 log 3 - 2 log 5)x = 5 log 5

x=5 log 5/(5 log 3 - 2 log 5)
