To find the net change, you first need to find f(2) and f(3). Your net change will be f(3) - f(2)

f(2)=4(2)-9= 8-9=-1

f(3)=4(3)-9= 12-9=3

net change = f(3)-f(2)=3-(-1)=3+1=4
