Very likely, you were taught that:
sqrt(a) / sqrt(b) = sqrt(a/b)
For example:
sqrt(200) / sqrt(2) = sqrt(200/2) = sqrt(100) = 10
Often, this method uses simpler computations (you might not even need a calculator !).
sqrt(180) / sqrt(5) = sqrt(180/5) = sqrt(36) = 6
