To find the answer, you must first find the source. Where did you find it? What color is it? Who made it?
Bricks are man-made products that may contain a variety of clay material. So it can be made of anything really. Some companies manufacture them by molding cement into brick blocks. Nowadays I have seen plastic bricks! For more info: https://ceramics.org/ceramic-tech-today/construction/the-many-types-of-bricks
Your best bet into finding out exactly what they are made of is to ask the manufacturer.
Uses:
- Safety = throw it at a stranger (e.g. mugger) bothering you to distract them.
- Building = for just about anything. If it is only one brick, then you can just use it as a paper weight or a stool for potted plants.
You can have plenty of uses for it by using your imagination!
Hope this is helpful!
