Remember the slope-intercept form is y = mx + b, where m is slope of the line, and b is where the line crosses the y axis when X = 0
You have m, but you need b. You can use the example coordinate (-8,4) and the slope to find b by plugging them into the equation and solving for b.
y = mx+b
4 = (3/4)(-8) + b
4 = (-6) + b
10 = b -> put this back into the main formula with the slope
So the slope-intercept equation is: y = (3/4)x + 10
You can check your work by plugging the coordinate given in the problem into this equation and making sure it is right.
