Solving equation (algebra)

How to solve this two equation?

Solve for B,

B log2(1+B)=100;

Solve for n

40/(64^1.5n)=0.5/(12.8^n)+2/(0.8^64)^n

Patrick B.

they have to be solved numerically either by bisection method, Newton's method and/or examining the graph

Patrick B.

for the second equation, graph F(n) = 0.5/(12.8^n)+2/(0.8^64)^n- 40/(64^1.5n) and find where it crosses the x-axis
