Why is this wright?

I was on clozemaster.com and the following sentence came up. "Bitte, ___ es." The translation read.. "Yes, please do." So filled in the blank with tu. It was mark incorrect and said the correct answer was "Bitte, tut es." Why is this correct? Wouldn't that mean "please, it does" instead of "yes, please do"? Is this just an idiom I don't understand?
