The y1 and y2 intersect in two places, meaning that there are two solutions to the rational equation. The graphs intersect at x = -1.5 and x = 2. This can also be determine by looking at the table and determining when y1 = y2.

x = 2 and x = -1.5 The rational expressions intersect in two places. The first point of intersection is at x = -1.5 and the second point of intersection is x = 2. You can use the intersect function or look at the table to determine when y1 = y2.11/15/19
