How would you graph y=-x2+2x+5 as a function and if a>0 find the maximum and if a<0 find the minimum value.

Since a is negative, this graph will open downward and will have a max value, not a min. When I graphed this on my graphing calculator, the max value is at the vertex, which is (1,6)

What is "a"? As for graphing, use a graphing calculator or online graphing tool. To do it by hand just plug in different x values an solve for y11/14/19
