After looking at my "answer"; I was lost. I'm trying again: (2x+2)/(x-1)-4=6x/(x+4)............ ((2x+2)-4x+4)/(x-1) =6x/(x+4)........... Cross mult: (2x^2+2x-4x^2+4x+8x+8-16x+16)=6x^2-6x............. like terms: -8x^2+4x=-24........... x=-1.5 This way is easier.
