asked 11/06/19Quadratic formula
I have a vertex of (2,2) and a y int of (0,2) what’s the quadratic equation!

I started to do this one earlier until I realized that this is actually impossible. The vertex and the y intercept cannot have the same y value. It is possible for two points on a parabola to have the same y value, as long as neither of them are the vertex. If you tried to plug the values into vertex form, y = a(x - h)2 + k, you would end up with the a value being zero, which would eliminate the x2 term entirely. Then it would no longer be quadratic.

No parabola with a vertex of (2,2) can have a y-intercept of (0,2). Please recheck your problem statement.11/06/19
