You can start with the 2 variables:
Let A=the amount of Adult admissions and C=the amount of Children admissions.
A = Adults
C = Children
Now if you can form 2 equations, each with both of these variables this is called a system of equations and you can use the equations together to solve for A or C or both.
A + C = 2400
11.50A + 4.75C = 18,150
I would recommend using substitution to solve for A.
