Three consecutive integers can be represented by x. (x+1) and (x+2)
The sum of the first two integers can then be represented as x +(x+1) and three times the largest can be represented by 3(x+2)
Therefore
x +(x+1) = 3 (x+2)
2x+1 = 3x +6
x=-5
x+1 = -4
x +2= -3
So the three consecutive integers are -5,-4,-3
