3x - 2y = 6
3x - 6 = 2y
(3/2)x - 3 = y
the slope of the given line is 3/2
the slope of the perpendicular line is -2/3
B = y - mx
= 1/2 - (-2/3)(3/4)
= 1/2 + 1/2 = 1
y = (-2/3)x + 1
y - 1/2 = (-2/3) ( x - 3/4)
