Coordinate Plane

Question

Take a portion of your own town 3 blocks by 3 blocks and map it out on a coordinate plane. Label some houses such as your own and some stores. You need to have at least 3 things on each 3 block labeled. Use addresses to make this easier. The origin would be the the intersection of main St and center St in most towns. This will give you a better understanding of coordinate planes and how important it is in planning a layout of a town.

Depending on which streets go north or south, Main Street and Center Street

shall be treated as the x-axis or y-axis
