Nominative or dative?
How does one describe one's self? When does one use nominative and when dative?
Which one is correct?
>Ich bin glücklich.
>Mir ist glücklich.
I am confused because there are times where I read nominative is being used and other times dative.

Learn German from experienced
You can describe yourself with using adjectives. For example:
- Ich bin jung.
- Ich bin reich.
- Ich bin glücklich.
- Ich bin hungrig.
"Mir ist glücklich." is wrong. Sometimes in german you drop some part of a sentence.
For example insted of "Es tut mir leid." you say "Tut mir leid." or "Mir ist kalt." for "Es ist mir kalt."

Both are correct. Here the accent is on the adjective and with dative here the importance is on the object12/01/19
