php api json customization

Question

I want build my own api using php like this 

https://opentdb.com/api.php?amount=5&category=9

and Please check :

1. amount=$amount

2. catagory=$catagory

The following code will check if the two parameters are set and then return json response:

The Data is dummy. In an actual case you might want to search the values i db and return the data as json.
