I'm a senior with an Archaeology emphasis on my Anthropology major
You have to be more specific, since there are several different theories that have been posited. Just saying "do you believe what Egyptologists believe" is a misunderstanding about how things work in this field of study. Archaeologists like to come up with conflicting opinions and then trash talk each other using their scholarly essays.
I think that the current, most widely-accepted theory is that the Egyptians built ramps around the pyramids and used those to haul stone up. I think that makes a lot of sense to me, knowing what I know about science and building materials and techniques of the time. It's certainly most realistic than History Channel's explanation, which seems to be "aliens" to every single architectural marvel.
