Radical Functions

How are radical functions similar/different to linear, quadratic, or exponential functions?

They are very similar to quadratic and exponential functions since radicals are just rational exponents ( square root of x is just x to 1/2 power). Therefore, many of the methods of solving and rules/laws apply to both.

The graphs of these appear to be inversely related. Hope this helps!
