If you are referring to spoken German, it is very common to drop the -e ending in conversation. For example, instead of saying "ich gehe nach Hause" in casual speech you can say (and most Germans do say it this way) "ich geh nach Hause". Verbs will also be occasionally written that way in casual writing, for example in a text to a friend.
