You can use the "slope/intercept" form: y = mx + b
To find m and b, you can create 2 equations using the two stated points: (-5 , 2) and (5 , -3)
This gives us:
2 = m(-5) + b
-3 = m(5) + b
Solve this for m by subtracting one equation from the other, thus eliminating the b. Once you have m, then enter into either equation and solve for b.
