None of the above:

if x=3/y and x decreases from 6 to three the n we have 6=3/y and 3=3/y solving these equations for y gives y=1/2 and y=1 so when x decreases form 6 to 3 y increases from 1/2 to 1. This is not one of the options.

Have I missed something??
