Parallel Fifth in a Symphony Orchestral?

when writing for an orchestra can we use parallel fifth (Power Chord)? for example in game of thrones symphony for some part of string or another song for brass section because it is so powerful and shiny with P5 interval..

Parallel fifths are absolutely fine if you're not writing counterpoint for an assignment that's being graded on historical accuracy.

Bach himself broke the rules and used parallel intervals from time to time.
