I am assuming that these are two points, (-4,4) and (0,5).
Because the second point has an x-coordinate of 0, it is ON THE Y-AXIS. So the y-intercept is 5.
The slope is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = (5-4)/(0-(-4)) = 1/4
