Just one. The key to this kind of question is to actually try to solve for x. If you can solve for x and you get one answer, the equation has one answer. On the other hand, if you try to solve for x and x completely cancels, then you need to compare the left and right side of the equation. If the left and right are identical in that case, then there are infinitely many answers. If however, the left and right are not the same number after simplifying, there are no solutions.
