Hello, it's because of the sentence structure. Because the word 'wenn' is used the verb must go to the end of the sentence. auf stehen is a separable prefix verb so normally auf would go to the end and stehen towards the beginning. For example 'ich stehe jeden Tag um 8 Uhr auf' i get up at 8 every day. But when you use 'wenn' or 'weil' the verb must be at the end of the sentence and you combine both parts of separable prefix verbs into one word in the normal order. For example, 'wenn ich um 8 Uhr aufstehe, bin ich sehr müde' when i wake up at 8 o clock I am very tired.
Hope this helps!
