Answer: For arithmetic progression difference d between consecutive terms is constant.
Therefore 4x+6 – 3x = 3x – (x+2)
i.e. x + 6 = 3x – x -2 simplify
x + 6 = 2x – 2 solve foe x
2x – x = 6 + 2 implies x = 8, common difference is 14
The sequence is 10, 24, 38, 52, … and etc.
