The use of an infinitive with the pronoun “es”?

Quite frankly, I do not see how the infinitive of a verb would ever be used with the pronoun "es", since pronouns require the verb to be conjugated, i.e. you could never say "Es gehen mir gut." but you would have to conjugate "gehen" and say "Es geht mir gut".
