Which is the better Unicode Normalization Form?

I have four options on Dreamweaver: C, D, KC, KD. Which one should I choose and why?

C is the preferred form for general text, since it is more compatible with strings converted from legacy codes. KC is the preferred form for identifiers, especially where there are security concerns.
