A "Werkstudent" is a student with a contract with only one company, and it might even be part of the education to work at that company in order to gain job-specific experience. A "Werkstudent" is actually a student working in an area that relates to his/ her studies. However, if you're working the night shift at McDonalds while being a student, you would say "Ich habe einen Studentenjob.".
How would you call someone who is working part-time as a student (Werkstudent in German)?
