Hello,
As long as the font is used in images, you are not infringing any copyrights or breaching any licenses.
However, if you use that font as a web font (for the text of your website), in that case you do have to pay for the font and a license to use it on your domain. For example, you mentioned buttons, if the buttons are images, then you're good. But if your buttons use HTML text and the font used for that text is Helvetica, you do have to purchase a license.
If that's the case, then at that point you can purchase a plan with any web font provider like typekit.com (which is Adobe Fonts now) or webtype.com or better yet, Google Fonts which are royalty free and great quality fonts.
