Experienced 99th Percentile GMAT Tutor
Great question. As a tutor who has taught numerous students and as someone who has also taken the GMAT and scored in the 99th percentile, here are what I consider the necessary attributes:
1 - Determination. This is a challenging test and it requires determination in order to prepare for the test while juggling school, job, life, etc.
2 - Resilience. There will be many frustrating moments in your journey to obtaining the score that you want. Learning from your mistakes and errors is essential to the process and you must be resilient throughout.
3 - Willingness to ask for help. The journey can be long and lonely. It is important to build a support network of friends, family and experts to help you when needed.
Good luck to you and do not hesitate to reach out for additional advice!
