12 = 3 / (x – 8)

12(x – 8) = 3

12x – 96 = 3

12x = 99

x = 99/12

meaning that h(x) = 12 when x = 99/12

3= (x-8)12

3=12x - 96

 

99=12x

 

x= 99/12

 

So h(x) = 12 when x = 99/12
