Hey there,
I am not sure if your question is answered with this, even though I hope strongly so though!
It's always like "able" is comparable with "bar " which means "vergleichbar" or in German we say "können" for "to be able".
But they are not adjectives.
Sometimes you see adjectives like "visible" and "invisible"
You say in German "sichtbar" and "unsuchtbar"
But when we say "lich" on the end like "verständlich" this is not an adjective!
And "ible"
