How to create a table from select query result in SQL Server 2008?

I want to create a table from select query result in SQL Server, I tried create table temp AS select..... but I got an error > Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'AS'

You can insert the results from Select Query directly into a new Table as below

SELECT [FIELD1],[FIELD2]........[FIELDN]

INTO <NEW TABLENAME>

FROM TABLENAME

Eg.

SELECT CustomerID, CustomerName, CustomerCity, CustomerState

INTO NEW_CUSTOMER_TABLE

FROM CUSTOMER
