Music Production
I would say it depends on the person, their role, but most importantly your relationship (or their relationship with the song).
I'd assume most people who choose a career path in music do so because they love their field of work (definitely not the case for everyone) so I wouldn't assume they find it annoying to do the job they choose.
Like all other fields, often some people may want to have a certain role, but are sometimes stuck doing work they don't want to do. For example, they could be stuck engineering when they want to be producing. This can be annoying for some people, but I think it's just part of the job, or career path that they choose.
Most importantly, it's about your relationship with the audio engineer or producer you're working with. If they make you feel bad or like you're an annoyance than maybe it would be best to seek someone else to work with. I can only assume they may be frustrated because they aren't a fan of the music or want to go in a different direction than the artist. Ultimately, they are there to serve the artist's vision not their own. It's their choice to take on the job and work with you and thats no reason to have a bad attitude.
I would recommend finding people you can openly communicate with. The work will be much better and easier finding people that are passionate about the song or care about your vision. You will also probably be happier with the final product because you will not be wondering "what if" or "i wish i could have told them i didn't like the sound of that guitar tone"
Hope this helps!
