So I am a little fuzzy on the question but I think we are assuming that t and h are the same for both equations? If so then you can set both of the equations equal to each other and solve for t that way.
-16t2 + 14t + 6 = -16t2 + 10t + 8
the -16t2 on both sides will cancel so you will be left with:
14t + 6 = 10t + 8
From here, subtract 10t from both sides as well as subtract 6 from both sides to get:
14t - 10t = 8 - 6
4t = 2
t = 1/2
