Please help me write this inequality. My initial thought is 98.6 - t < 95 but when I solve for t the answer does not make sense.

Hypothermia occurs when a person's body temperature falls below 95 F. Write and solve an inequality that describes how much lower the body temperature of a person with hypothermia will be than a person with a normal body temperature of 98.6F.

Hypothermia begins at 95. So, use normal range is greater than 95.

-t > 95 - 98.6

-t > -3.6

t < 3.6 this is the amount that temp can drop before hypothermia sets in.

t > 3.6 This is the amount that temp must drop for hypothermia to set in.
