How do I choose a good cover photo for my website?
It's been trendy to have large background images with relatively little text over them for headers and intros to web pages including the start of blog posts. I could give countless examples of this, but I think you know what I'm talking about. What makes an effective cover/background photo? What should I keep in mind when looking for images or planning to take and edit some for my site?
When choosing a cover photo for your website make sure it represents the core what your website is about. For example, if you are selling clothes on your website cover photo of different clothes styles is a perfect fit. Do not try to make it complex by over-thinking about it. Use a simple design that will get the message across.
